Building resilience (Mental Health Support)

If the pandemic got you down, you are not alone.

COVID has led to a mental health pandemic. Being told to cheer up does not help at all.

Recovering Pessimist Jo Owen, author of Resilience (Pearson books), shows how even the most pessimistic person can develop a series of mental tricks and habits to help you live in the sunshine, not in the rain.

No one can tell you to be positive, motivated, happy or optimistic. These are choices we have to make for ourselves. This interactive session will help you make good choices. Choosing well can be learned and will help you live long and live better.
