What happens when you take a Quella Nero and put it through one of Britain's famous universities? You end up with a Quella Varsity - the same fun, low maintenance and track-inspired speedster, but one which has graduated with added refinement and sophistication. The new members of the Quella Varsity range feature a number of improvements over our Nero models for those who wish to combine classic single speed riding with first class componentry.

Built around an upgraded 4130 frame and fork, the Varsity models feature sealed headset bearings, an intricate aluminium 44T crank, and a full Quella Premium finishing kit for improved comfort and performance.

Brand new in 2017 is our eye-catching Varsity Edinburgh, named after Scotland's most prestigious university town. This single speed bike is painted with an attractive stone grey frame, evocative of Edinburgh's famous stone architecture.

Our bikes come 90% assembled, the customer will need to place front wheel between the forks and tighten bolts, insert pedals into correct crank arms (L/R indicates which side is correct), straighten and tighten handlebars using an Allen key, attach saddle and seat post into the frame and tighten the seat clamp to desired height. If the customer is not very confident with putting it together, we advise taking it to a bike shop as a mechanic can put it together for a low price.
